We have always loved the beach and one of our favorite things to do has always been collecting shells. We can't walk a beach without looking down for something special to be uncovered by the sand and ocean waves. We have jars around the house filled with shells from local beaches as well as beaches from other states and around the world. We decided around a year ago to start making things with them and have now launched Cass + Pearl. We get to walk beaches letting our creative juices flow with ideas to repurpose these beautiful shells. Tammy's Mom gave herself a nickname when she was a child, Cassamaloney, and is still referred to as Cass by her family. She thinks oysters are one of the most delicious things in life, which is the Pearl, so we are dedicating this shop to her.
